Originating from Asharikandi village in Dhubri district, Assam, Asharikandi Terracotta is one of Northeast India’s distinctive traditional clay crafts. Artisans use locally available clay, including the region’s characteristic Hiramati soil, to create hand-shaped, fired terracotta products with natural earthy colours, detailed patterns and strong folk-art character.

1. Asharikandi Hatima Putul & Traditional Folk Figurines
